Should you start a studio?
Youβve probably thought about this question before.
But youβre asking yourself the wrong question.
You should think about why you want to start a studio?
What goal are you looking to achieve?
Some related goals could be:
- Looking to make more money
- Working on more creative projects
- Looking to scale
Starting a studio could solve these problems but itβs not the only way.
Itβs not the only path for career development either.
If I wanted to scale my business I would ask myself questions like:
- What do I want my life to look like in the future?
- What does success mean to me?
- What does scaling mean to me? more money? more freedom?
- Do I want to manage others?
- What role do I want to take in the studio?
- Is there any other way I can achieve my goals?
By asking yourself these questions you will get closer to an answer that will help you to grow your business in the way that you want.
